Attorney David R. Cox was born and raised in the Town of Needham and has practiced law with his father, Gilbert W. Cox, Jr., since 1992. He is a 1992 Graduate of New England School of Law and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in the Study of Estate Planning. Attorney Cox completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Lawrence University in 1984 and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University in 1990.
Attorney Cox was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1992 and is also licensed to practice in the United States Court, District of Massachusetts.
Attorney Cox has been active in the Town of Needham. He served as President of the Needham Exchange Club in 2005-2006 and has chaired numerous committees including the Needham Phone Book, Fourth of July celebration, and the 60th Anniversary Project which revamped the playground at Claxton Field in Needham.
Attorney Cox has served as a Town Meeting member for the Town of Needham and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA).
